I first met Tanya King at the Maple Ridge Home Show and quickly feel in love with her creativity and calm demeanor. Famously known to photograph furry creatures, Tanya was brave enough to photograph my family of six. She has a beautiful property where we were able to photograph in various outdoor settings. Tanya is amazing with dogs. A few years ago we had her take photos of our boston terrier , Lucy. We were very impressed with how she was able to take so many great shots of Lucy who almost never would stay still. Our dogs are special needs animals who were all rescued from the streets of Latin America. Life on the street for a dog can leave profound psychological scars. Our dogs, who all suffered from trauma, require a lot of compassion, kindness, and understanding. Tanya was absolutely fantastic with our little ones. She was patient with them, giving them the time and space to grow comfortable with her. The photo shoot with our dogs and us was quite fun. Our dogs absolutely loved it. And the photos Tanya took that day captured our dogs' personalities perfectly. The photo book Tanya created sits on our coffee table where we frequently share with guests the images of our beloved companion animals.
